Illuin
   One of the Lamps of the Valar made by Aulë. Illuin stood in the northern part of Middle-earth, and after the overthrow of the mountain by Melkor the Inland Sea of Helcar was formed there.

   The northern of the two Lamps of the Valar.
   One of the two Lamps of the Valar, set up by Aulë in ancient days to bring light to the world. It was destroyed by Melkor, and where it fell it created the inland Sea of Helcar.
